Course Objective

To equip teachers with effective classroom management strategies and practical burnout prevention tools, strengthening both professional authority and psychological resilience.

Participants will learn how to understand behavioral psychology, apply positive discipline methods, and develop sustainable self-care strategies.

Course Programme

Day 1 – Behavioral Psychology & Prevention Strategies

Goal: Understanding the roots of student behavior and building a safe classroom climate.

Activities:

  • Core causes of behavior (safety, belonging, self-expression)

  • Creating structured and predictable environments

  • Classroom climate and communication culture

  • Inclusive relationship-building strategies

  • Analysis of successful prevention cases

  • Guided tour of Vilnius Old Town (Cultural+ / All-Inclusive packages)

Participants understand behavioral drivers and apply preventive strategies to reduce disruptive behavior.

Day 2 – Teacher Leadership & Positive Discipline

Goal: Strengthening authority through positive leadership and conflict management.

Activities:

  • Teacher leadership models

  • Positive discipline tools

  • Behavior correction without humiliation

  • Conflict management strategies

  • Simulation workshop of complex classroom situations

Learning Outcomes:

Participants confidently apply leadership strategies and conflict resolution techniques.

Day 3 – Teacher Resilience & Burnout Prevention

Goal: Strengthening psychological health and professional sustainability.

Activities:

  • Stress, distress and burnout mechanisms

  • Identifying burnout symptoms

  • Impact of beliefs and expectations on well-being

  • Establishing healthy professional boundaries

  • Practical breathing and mindfulness techniques

  • Development of a personal resilience plan

Learning Outcomes:

Participants develop tools for stress management and create a personalised resilience strategy.

Day 4 – Learning from Practice: School Visits

Goal: Observing classroom management in real educational settings.

Activities:

  • Classroom observations in Vilnius schools

  • Analysis of teacher–student dynamics

  • Discussion with school leadership on stress-reduction measures

  • Peer exchange with host teachers

  • Farewell dinner (Cultural+ / All-Inclusive packages)

Participants observe real-life classroom management strategies and identify institutional support mechanisms for burnout prevention.

Day 5 – Cultural Learning Experience (Optional Package)

Activity:

  • Full-day excursion to Trakai

  • Visit to Trakai Island Castle

  • Cultural reflection and networking
